Mobile Country Codes (MCC) and Mobile Network Codes (MNC)
Mobile Country Codes (MCC) are essential identifiers used in wireless telephone networks (such as GSM, CDMA, and UMTS) to determine the country of a mobile subscriber. To uniquely identify a subscriber’s network, the MCC is paired with a Mobile Network Code (MNC). This combination of MCC and MNC is known as the Home Network Identity (HNI), represented as a single string (for example, MCC = 262 and MNC = 01 results in an HNI of 26201). When the HNI is combined with the Mobile Subscriber Identification Number (MSIN), it forms the Integrated Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI). Below, you can explore or search through a list of countries and their MCCs for free, allowing you to identify any MCC, MNC, or HNI worldwide.
